Is it possible to learn to ski/snowboard to a sufficient standard?

in those indoor ski centres ( like xscape, milton keynes) not to require lessons when you actually go for real, or are those indoor slopes to small to learn all the needed techniques. Any ideas on how many lessons you would need.

  1. well i work in Xscape in castleford and i work in the rentals and on the snowslopes and your required to have passed your level 1 to 4 snowboarding/skiing before your alloud on the main slopes then i think its on a thursday nite, you can go and they have a course were they teach you tricks, turns help you improve i think its really benifical learning to ski/board at an indoor slopes, it can be realy fustrating trying to learn on your own.
