  1. Ok, I think I know what your saying because I've wondered this and tried so hard to find it myself. Your looking for something that you can seek along any channel that you type in or seek to just like the radio in a car, right? That's what I have been searching for for a long time and I have had no luck. Personally, I think that radio should be more of a free thing on the web. Sully because it is so easy to get outside of the web. You can get it in many mp3 players these days with no trouble. You can pick a fm radio up from Walmart for about 2 bucks. You could even make one with some foil, a pair of speakers and a few other things, ( I forget ). But, like I said before. There is no way that I have found to get something like that on a website. I am learning how to program right now. And I was actually considering finding a way to make a application that can act as a radio. I will let you know if i'm able to do that. Til then, good luck.

  2. Yes, if yor station has a streaming feed from the internet, but keep in mind these are a few seconds behind the normal radio, so it may be a little late ti try and call and win.

  3. yes on itunes

  4. ya most stations have it on their website

  5. Most stations stream their live signals to the US on their websites. Go to the station site and look for "Listen Live." Click it and, if your computer has the right extensions and add-ons, you'll be able to hear the live broadcast.

If you have a problem, It could be your network. If you are coming straight out of the wall (either cable or DSL) to a modem to your computer with ethernet, then it's something else.

If, however, you have a router or switch in between that could be the problem, It was a problem for me.

Another problem is with the version of either Java or Flash. Go to the sites below and download the latest versions of both.

The other thing that happens is there are often many different volume controls any one of which if muted or turned down will kill the audio. So make sure you check all of them in your control panels and any volume controls on the computer box itself (for instance my Toshiba has a volume wheel on the front of the computer that's barely visible). Make sure you click "apply" after making any changes, if it's there.

Make sure the site is in your preferred sites and no pop-up blockers are in play. You can also try lowering your security settings and disabling your firewall while listening (but re-start when finished)
