  1. Nope when the group was founded the owner chose that option for his/her own reasons.


  2. Only if you know its exact name.  If you know its exact name, there's a way to figure out its web address, and if you enter that web address into your browser you can (probably) view its home page.

  3. not really. an unlisted group/ hidden is that way for a reason.
