  1. I don't think so, its not healthy for you and your body cant just shed weight like that

  2. she is lying, its impossible, physiacally.

    im sorry.

  3. it is possible but you have to go on a diet

  4. Depending upon the metabolism of our body it may be possible.

  5. I don't know about that routine, but I did the Atkins no Carb diet for 2 weeks and lost 20lbs, so I'd say it's possible.

  6. A pound= 3500 calories. She would have to burn or cut more than 3500 calories a day.

  7. Generally no. it isn't possible.

There are about 3500 calories in one pound of fat..

and unless your friend is about 250 pounds, and has never worked out before that, no.

Unless of course a lot of it is water weight.. which is possible... but that's not actual weight.

Or maybe some hardcore diet pills..

  8. if she ate a lot less than she normally does, maybe

  9. well, in order to lose 8 pds a week, a person must weigh around 200 or so, be a strict diet and work out alot. The more you have to lose the more weight loss you will see in the beginning.

So i guess it could be possible, but get all the facts, ie, what did she eat? how much does she weigh? etc..

Because there is NO WAY, anyone could lose 8 lbs in a week by just doing the above, otherwise I would have done it a long time ago !

  10. I think its possible if you ate a low-fat diet. Lifting weights adds muscle which uses more calories. exercising burns calories. if you put both of these concepts together, you will have a deficit in calories and your body will turn to your stored up fat.
