Is it possible to lose the spark after being together for 4 years?

we r getting married April 25th 2009. what r somethings we can do to keep that spark alive.

Love and passion are two different things. Many people who are not married or never been marry really don't understand.

It's normal to lose the "spark/passion" in a relationship...the question is what to do when that happens...

First, express your feelings, the good, bad, and indifferent with your mate.  Once you open up that door of communication and intimacy, and hopefully they'll reciprocate. Through the honest sharing, your love will grow and the spark will start to re-ignite.

Don't get married if the spark is already gone.  It's not fair to him/her and getting married WILL NOT make your present situation change. Sorry, but this is not the person for you.

i was together w/ my bf for 4 years before we got married this April. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by spark but if you are totally bored with ur bf, or the idea of seing him every day for the rest of your life...that's not good. At the same time though, you can't expect to have butterflies in ur stomach and fireworks going off every time you see or talk to him. After 4 years ppl get used to eachother,and they start to experience a different kind of love.

I was very excited to get married to my b/f even after 4 years of dating i was still not sick of him yet :)

Just make sure you still love him before you take that big step.
