Question:

Is it possible to lose weight with this plan...?

Every other day I run/walk to the tennis courts and play tennis with my mum and then I run back. I usually play for about half an hour so I usually get 30-40 min of recreation every other day.

Is it still possible to lose weight if I don't work out every day?

Is it better to eat small snacks throughout the day even if I'm not hungry, or should I eat when my stomach growls?

I'm 5'6, 108 lbs, and I'm 15 years old. Is that a good weight for my age? I'm trying to lose some fat and gain muscle along the way.

Answers are much appreciated :)

  1. Of course thats a good way to lose weight!

you dont need to "work out" in order to lose weight,

you can do any type of excercise that you enjoy !

And you should eat around 5 small meals a dday,

your stomach is actually only the size of about your fists put together,

so when people dont eat all day, then eat a huge meal, they actually stretch their stomach.

So eat several small meals and your tummy will get used to that, and its a lot healthier.

And your a perfect weight for your age so im not sure why your trying to lose weight but i hope that this helped!

Oh and make sure to drink lots and lots of water.

  2. you should defiantly not lose weight, you are at a good weight right now (in fact, you are a little skinny)

but that is a good workout plan.

  3. The exercise is fine...Tennis is a full body workout and you will build muscle in your arms and legs.  Running is the same thing.  BUT you are also burning calories.

Also- it is healthier and better to eat 6 small meals throughout the day.  A good breakfast, lunch, and dinner- and 3 snacks.  I say don't wait till the growl, but don't force it if you are full.

And lastly- you are skinny for your size- but that is due to your age.  I say do squats, lunges, and if you have access to a gym- go in for weight training.  That will help build your muscle.  Also, think about trying pilates or yoga on your off days to lean up your muscle.

  4. ..i'm 17, 5'6, and 125 pounds and i'm considered underweight for my height.  the average for a 5'6 teenager is 130 so im pretty sure you're skinny enough. obviously i don't know what you look like though so you could have the teeniest bone structure ever but even so, please please please don't try to lose weight! talk to your doctor.

  5. o___O If you're 108 lbs at 5'6, you probably don't even have that much fat on you to begin with, no offense.

It's better eating small snacks, but eat only when you're actually hungry.

Gaining muscle would mean you gain weight, by the way.
