Is it possible to love someone if you dont love yourself.?

Okay I've heard that you cant truly love someone if you don't love yourself... and i don't really like myself.... I've also heard that you can only love someone as much as you love yourself but i kinda think that would make you self centered wouldn't it? i say that i fallen in love( even tough I'm young) but is it possible that its not love because i dont love my self??

I think what's meant by that is that if you don't have enough self-esteem, it is going to interfere in any relationship you have and hurt it.  You will always be feeling insecure and needy and as a result, you will have a tendency to be overly clingy and jealous which will hurt the relationship.  Plus, if you do not feel good about yourself, you are likely to stick in a relationship out of fear of being or as a way to avoid dealing with your own problems.

Being self-centered is not the same as having self-esteem and feeling good about yourself.  In fact, most self-centered people are really people who are very insecure about themselves deep down.  What's important is to feel good and secure about yourself.
