Is it possible to make a Image a background and use Dreamweaver to place text above it at any spot?

Hey,

I am using Dreamweaver and I made an image a background with CSS code. I now want to put text above it and links as well. Is that possible with Dreamweaver? I doubt it but worth a shot incase someone knows some hidden secret.

Its possible to do lots of things with css including drop

down lists and the placement of text virtually any ware on the page.
