Is it possible to make a hover board?

I was just wonder if the task could be done..and if anyone knew what and how it could be done?

Sure it would, just get a couple electromagnets with the same pole facing each other. (Or use regular magnets) but that would be in a small area and not really efficient. You could put a couple jet packs under the board and find a way to control them so you can control how high or low you travel.

no, there are no power sources powerful enough to fit in that small area.

if u had a magnetic plate or something that an opposite magnet could float above yeah it could be done but it would be in practical
