  1. sure

  2. 1. Build box.

    2. Strap rocket engines to bottom of said box.

    3. Fire rocket engines.

  3. Err...

In order to create what you're talking about on Earth you would need something Incredibly massive crammed into a very small space.

I'm talking something the size of the moon

    In short, no.

  4. As mentioned earlier, the answer is yes...if you place an incredibly dense core of matter under the floor thereby increasing gravity.  Truth is, no one really completely understands gravity.

In fact, the gravitational constant is a calculation (rather a series of calculations) as any measuring instrument has mass and therefore skews the results of each attempt at measuring the gravitational constant, which at best can be described as a highly refined educated best guess.

The closest equivalent to what you are looking for would be some type of centrifugal chamber that could simulate the effects of increased gravity.  We are a long way off from the Sci Fi gravity device that you are looking for.  Perhaps in the future, when our understanding of gravity improves, we'll have our artificial gravity generators.

  5. Yes, it is called an "elevator"...going up?
