Yes you can.  I recently set up a paypal account for my father that is solely funded using a credit card- no bank account details

No. Firstly ebay won't let you do that for seller because of their sellers fees : secondly PP won't let you do it because of their system.

I dont know if you can NOT enter bank detail but I'm pretty sure that you can request that people only pay you w/checks or certified checks and Money orders.

No, Paypal needs bank details to collect and pay money.

Hi

When I buy with Pay pal, I contact the seller and pay him or her directly from my pay pal account instead of going through Ebay. Simply ask the seller to give you their direct email and send the money to them directly from your Pay pal account to theirs. All you need to do is get their paypal email after the auction, open your Paypal account,click on "send funds" tab - from there you will see a space to put the seller's email address then the amount you are paying and so on - then send.

I also ask my buyers to do the same on my listings. I always put emphasis on the fact that I prefer checks or money orders as payments, but if the buyer prefers to use Pay pal - contact me.

You can pay Ebay fees with a paper check too. I dislike the fact they can automatically get into my account. Everything is automated and if they make and error - you pay h**l trying to get your money back.

You can make a new account with Ebay - but they will link  you to your old one. I simply went ahead and made a new Pay pal account so they could not stick their paws into my account anymore.

Make sure you remove your bank info from the old account and remove your account as the primary source of funding. Also remove your bank info from Ebay.

If all else fails - you can change your account number through your bank - then Ebay can't do anything.

If you are trying to open a new account because you owe Ebay back fees - contact me through IM or email. There is not enough time in here to explain what to do, but my cousin had to do it.

Too many sellers have been gyped setting up their Paypal accounts through Ebay and now you  will see more and more sellers asking for checks or money orders. If you ask for money orders as payments - make sure it is postal money orders.
