when you make someone a moderator you don't share your account or password   That has nothing to do with it.

From the list on the left, click Members and locate the member on the Members page.

Click Edit Membership.

A little way down, click Change to Moderator.

Click on the Make Moderator button to confirm.

when you co-own or co-moderate, you NEVER have to share your password etc.
