Is it possible to make yourself hear voices?

Question

Without the use of drugs or chemicals or anything like that?

Like when people with schizophrenia hear disembodied voices.

I know this is a weird question but serious answers only.

Seriously, sometimes I do.  I hear some guy with a British accent talking to me on occasion.  And for the record, I'm not taking any drugs or drinking alcohol when this happens and I'm not a lunatic.

yes you walk up to someone and say hi and usually you hear a voice.

You can imagine all you want, but it's not the same thing.  And, stop wishing for a psychotic break.  Even if it's at all possible to will one to happen, then you'll probably have to deal with them the rest of your life.  Why try to break your brain?
