Is it possible to move beyond not understanding a subject and excel at it?

There are some parts of biology that I have trouble understanding no matter how hard I try and force myself. Is it possible to work hard enough at it so that I can understand it, or is my brain not capable of it?

Your brain is capable of it. A different teacher can sometimes explain things in ways you can understand better. Try looking up difficult concepts on line or asking your teacher or other students for help. You might even find help in the library. Don't hesitate to ask!!!

i have the same problem too

but i think in order for your brain to capture it, you have to do it slowly, process by process, go slowly, don't force your brain to capture all the material all at once

practice makes perfect!
