  1. sure...i do it all the time...just wipe your hands off before you put them in there and wash them after you move them...its perfectly safe

  2. That's the only way I know how, if someone could tell me how to effectively move my plants (including burying them) with anything else I would be grateful..

Yes, and always make sure you wash your hands thoroughly beforehand and make sure not to dunk your clothing at the same time :)  .... Always make sure to wash your hands with soap afterwards to avoid harm to yourself or others.

Just be gentle with both the plants and the fish while you are moving them..:)

p.s. I hope you use lotion after having your hands in your aquarium, excessive contact with water reduces the skin's natural moisturizing factors and can lead to dermatitis.  As for not washing dishes, do you mean never.....cripes u sure are the lucky one LOL

  3. I always have. The only problem I've encountered is my fish biting. (my guppies don't do any damage, but it's freaky when all 5 guppies in the tank decide to attach to your hand!)

Make sure your hands are clean, but more importantly make sure there is absolutely no soap or lotion on them, your wrists, or the length of arm that'll be in the tank.

And wash your hands (and any part that got wet) REALLY well when you're done, prefrabably with antibacterial soap.

  4. Yes, but wash your hands good before moving them, and after moving them.
