Is it possible to move to L.A. after high-school and make it?

by the way im on my bros account so no im not 12. Ok so im in highschool and I live in the north Seattle area currently. I want to move to L.A after highschool but im worried I might not make it there I hear its pricey. I'm going to get a degree in journalism and be a writer so thats my living. Im a sophmore right now by the way and I have good grades 3.73 GPA. I figure I'll have to get a daytime job too or something.Anyone here have any tips or advice for me? I don't know how im gonna do this but I really want to get out of seattle.

when you go to college make good connections to proffessors and people who are in the buisness. get in clubs and things of that sort even though your degree isnt ine l.a. type of careers. u can do it just dont give up!
