I want to listen to my own music, not whats on internet explorer. Is it possible to mute internet explorer, but not the whole pc?

    No, you cannot in XP. In vista, you can mute/mix/adjust vol for individual apps AFAIK


  2. Um. You Should Switch To Firefox.

    Its Way Better.

  3. Not that I'm aware of. My advice, though? Switch to Firefox. Much better, and it doesn't have any annoying noises, so there's no need to mute it.
