  1. Yup, as long as all your Pc's have a network card, you can hook them all through a router switch linking them all together... I have 4 hookeded up together so we can do gaming together as a family activity.... It is fun!!! Just go to a local Pc repair shop and let them know what you are wanting and they will guide you in the right direction....

Most of it is just plug and play, depending on what system you have, because windows vista can be very tempermental and does not like to read all the pc's and win 98 you use a step through process, and so I would be sure all systems are the same to make for an easier hook-up!! All mine have windows xp... I like this one best!!

  2. Connect all 4 comps together with a router.

Wired connections are best to minimize latency (delay). Wireless connections would 'do' though.....

Get yourself a Linksys WRT54GL. The 'L' stands for linux, and this device can hold DDR-WRT Linux software, which is ultimately configurable.

The flight-sim game should be able to recognise all others on the local network without problem.

    Enjoy.

  3. I do not know if Microsoft Flight Simulator is the type of product that permits the sharing of program in the manner you wish it to do.

If the product permits the sharing, you need to network the pcs.

Networking is done via a network switch.  If you also need Internet connectivity, you need a router.

There are several texts on making such a network.  If you need specific help on networks, write specific questions.

No one can write a book herein to provide you the fundamentals.
