Is it possible to never have to pay property taxes? What would be the exceptions?

What if i run a non-profit in or near the grounds of m home.

  1. Won't work, you would still owe property tax on the part of your home you use as your home.  A fellow in my area tried to get his house tax exempted by deeding it to a church of his own creation and ended up doubling his old bill.


  2. that is one way to do it... i know that some companies like Abercrombie and Fitch do not have to pay sales taxes on purchases they make because they have donotated so much land and money to certain organizations
