  1. Yes its completely normal for such a thing to happen. But hair growth is usually hereditary so unless your male relative don't have facial hair (or very little) it is a rare occasion for you to have none.

  4. Yep - it's possible. Not all men are equally hairy - and it's also possible to grow facial hair in some places, but not others - creating "bald patches".

    Some women can also grow facial hair - not much, like men do, but more-than-usual amounts at the moustache and sideburn areas! I won't mention any ethnicities! ;)
