Is it possible to obtain the list of passengers on board a cruise ship?

hehehe not too bad for a first question, eh?!

Would the cruise people give me just the names of the passengers? I don't need any contact information.

....it's a personal reason, bit complicated to explain here.

Absolutely not.

As crew I had access to the embarkation manifest list.  If I were bored or something I would glance through it.

But you will not have any such access.

Not unless you are the US Customs and Immigration Service, Homeland Security, or the FBI.  All of those names are subject to the Privacy Act.

No: You would need to be working for a Government Agency to even request access to that type of information.
