Is it possible to open a UK bank account using utility bills from Ireland?

I'm moving to London next Monday, but the only utility bills I have will be those displaying my Irish address. Will this suffice?

  1. Of course not!  You could use your lease agreement as proof of where you live.


  2. Depends which bank it is they have different processes, the bank i work for would accept 3 months worth of previous bank statements from your bank in ireland.!
