Is it possible to open a saving/cking account in a bank in GB from the US?

I dont live there as of now, but planning to in a year or so. So can I open an account now and put money in there every so often. That way when I do move, I will already have an acct waithing for me. If so, how do I go about it?

Yes, This is possible.  Not positive how done but would start with an international banc like HSBC that serves all over and contact them.  You may be able to open an account here and just access it there or they can point you in the right direction.

Yes you can. I suggest you go to HSBC in the US. You can then open an account in the UK.
