Is it possible to paint an NSP Surf Board?

Question

Just bought an NSP 10' 2" longboard and very happy with it. Only thing is that too many other kooks in the water just like me with the exact same board. While I already stickered it up underneath (so at least I know which one is mine), was wondering if I'd have much luck painting the deck. Dunno much about epoxy boards and how they handle paint. If possible, what kind of paint and sealant?

Well, you wasted your money on a mass produced pop-out, you just have to deal with it. Why do you need to "personalize" yours? You have a leash on in the water, and I guess if you sit on the beach, it would be with your towel or changing mat?

Does it really matter what it looks like if it works for you?  

You need to know which one is yours?  When do you have a hard time figuring that part out?  The board is connected to your foot. It's not like the beach blanket bimbo days and you lean your tanker against the palapa, with 40 of your closest friends while you all dance to Jan and Dean.  Then you wanna go ride the wild surf, but you just can't figure out which one is yours.  Hey maybe it is like and I'm all jacked up.

You could also surf some where else, if all the other kooks are riding the same board....move on and find another spot.

I wouldn't 99% of the time it just wrecks the board and make resell value low. If you are a really good surfer people won't care what board you have.

You can design it with Posca Posca pens. They won't effect your board's finish and last a season or two.

i dont think thats the best idea. just buy some nice accessory for it that no one else has. like a camoflage leash. if you paint it, some surfshops probably wont take it if you want to sell it and if they do they might not give it the highest value because it is painted
