  1. Of course it is! As long as you can hear the notes on your piano, there is no limit to what you can do. You can always get your piano tuned or repaired to make it have a better sound. Also, if the echo pedal is going out, it would be good to choose songs in your repertoire that do not include use of any pedals. Remember that, if you are just playing for fun, your friends and family won't care about whether or not the sound is bad- they'll be happy to hear you play. If you are practicing for a concert or recital, you won't be playing on your own piano- you'll be playing on a finely tuned grand. Just remember to practice, practice, practice, and you'll be the next Beethoven! :)

  2. you'd be amazed at how good tunes can be, even if it involves home made instruments and every day utensils   eg a bass made with a broom handle,a length of rope or twine and an old tea chest, cutlery on glass jars...you get the picture !!! kiddies instruments and all sorts !!! any music (almost anyway) is better than no music !!!

  3. If it's in tune - YES
