Is it possible to play a pc game formatted for Windows 95 and 98 on XP?

I have a pc game for Windows 95 and 98. It was made in 1996, and I want to get it on my XP pc. Is this possible? How could I do it? Thanks!

  1. Easy. Run the game's .exe file in Compatibility mode, you can find it via the Right click - Properties menu.


  2. just try to install the game it should be compatible

    -Click Start, and then click Help and Support

    -Click Fixing a problem, and then click Application and software problems

    -Under Fix a problem click Getting older programs to run on Windows XP

    -Then click the Program Compatibility Wizard

  4. yes, xp will automatic change compatiblity to windows 98. Windows 95 games will not work it must be made for win98se.
