Is it possible to play my XBOX 360 on my laptop, using my monitor like a television?

I would like to play my XBOX 360 on my laptop, because it is higher definition, much smaller than a tv, and it just works out better for me. I have an HP Pavillion dv2000, and I am totally open to buying and cords or what not to make this work. Thanks

don't think so.  You can on a monitor but not on a laptop, UNLESS you have a vga input on your laptop.  Then you just buy a vga to hdmi cable.
