Is it possible to plug in any kind of keyboard ane mouse into my playstation 3?

Or, do I need to buy a keyboard sold by sony?

And if i can plug in a keyboard, is it then the same quality as on my computer?

yes, i use my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse for UT3.  It's also the same quality.

You have a PS3, not an XBOX. Sony do not force you to buy their own. Any Keyboard or Mouse, either USB or Bluetooth should work.
