  1. I think you can't do it without downloading a program to help u,  because most of DVD movies/videos formats are not play on iPod directly.  I downloaded Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite to help me at http://www.dvdipodsoft.com/ipod-video-co...

This software can convert DVD's and videos to ipod directly. It's fast, safe, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choose. You can download it to help you too.

  4. No

  5. Get AVS Video Converter, it can rip and burn personal DVDs, convert video, split, join, edit, rotate, apply effects, transfer, copy! All key video formats are supported! This is the best tool I' ve been used.

  6. No...

  7. No, because DVD is MPEG-2 video, and iPod supports only MP4 video, you need to convert your DVD to mp4 video at first, then you can add it to iTunes and sync to your iPod.

If you want to do that for free, here is a step by step guide for you

  8. No, but their are really safe computer programs to convert the files. I think I've asked this question before on here, so do a google search for it. I ended up downloading a program and it was fairly simple.

  9. No, you will definitely need to download software to rip DVDs to for your iPod. If you are worried about having to spend money on software, don't. You can use a program called Handbrake, which is free and available for Mac and Windows. There is a tutorial on how to use Handbrake, and a download link at the Apple Mentor website:
