Is it possible to put bike pegs on an adult sized bike? (back and front wheels)?

Although it may be possible DON'T DO IT!

Pegs are not for carrying passengers and the construction of most adult bikes will not withstand peg-oriented tricks.

In most cases, NO. No mountain bike that I am aware of will accept pegs - due to derailleurs, quick release wheels, front shocks, whatever. Pegs are specifically meant for BMX/Freestyle bikes (providing that the BMX/Freestyle bike has the proper axles for pegs {not all of them do}).
