Is it possible to put linux on my PS3 and then play PC games on it?

I do not want to connect it to the internet, because that will cause all sorts of trouble, I just want to play PC games the way they were meant to be played - with the highest graphics settings

Is there a way that I can disable the PS3's WIFI when in linux?

Can linux even play PC games?

1). Yes;

2). If you won't establish connection - you won't have it, besides, it's not dangerous at all - who told you this nonsense?

3). Only simple, non-3D games. 3D games can't be played, because PS3's GPU is locked, it's open only for XMB and PS3 games.
