  1. colleges look at the family income and with an income that high i'm sorry to tell you most colleges will probably reject you. You might have a slim chance at a government loan though.

  2. You should always research your options in grants, scholarships, and federal aid with your school's financial aid office.  However, you will most likely be turned toward alternate means to finance your education.

Private student loans, commonly referred to as "alternative loans", are designed to fill the gap created by the ever rising cost of education.  These loans are offered by banks and other private institutions and typically have the option to add a cosigner.

You can visit http://www.collegeloancampus.com/guide.p... for a step by step guide to the entire financial aid process, including information on private student loans.

  3. Not really

also depends on the cost of the tuition and your EFC

    (expected family contirbution)

    good luck

  4. File a FAFSA and see where you stand. There are a number of factors considered. The income you state is high, yes, but other considerations (like how many kids are in school, extraordinary medical expenses this year, etc) will make a difference.

Always file a FAFSA. That's the only way to know for sure.

  5. You definitely do not qualify for government assistance. You can always get student loans. I think our government is messed up and something needs to change! I think that if you pay for your own tuition (like me) that it shouldn't be based on your parents income! I'm so in debt because of student loans and it would be nice to get some government assistance!
