  1. i believe there are seminars or workshops you can attend to learn how to test better on the ACT...check with your guidance councelor or check the internet

  2. For starters... It's very possible to raise it that much.  Is it very likely?  No.  The score you received the first time either shows your capability to comprehend the test material up to this point, or your efforts on the test.  If you just weren't trying the first time... you have a good shot at a 30.  Otherwise you may not quite reach that goal.  Your best at bat would be to study hard and do your best.  Don't set yourself up for failure by going for something you probably won't get.

  3. Keep in mind that the ACT is a math/science based test, while the SAT is more focused on language stuff.  The ACT subject sections last for an hour or more.  I personally have a hard time focusing on one subject that long.  The SAT sections are around 30-40 minutes in length.  SAT test also has no science section.

(ACT science is a total freaking joke, it is 1% science, 99% facts and graphs interpretation.)

I got a 28 on the ACT, I hope to raise mine to 30-32.

Your goal is high.  A 27 will put you a good bit over the rest of the nation, and a 31-34 will put you in the running for any college in the nation.  Aim for a 28, and you may hit it.  If you don't, just do well in college, get good grades, and transfer somewhars wif' a bettar ejeecashun.
