Is it possible to raise prawn in a small pool?

I have been unable to find anything on this exact subject. Can prawn or shrimp be raised for human consumption in a small swimming pool?

I am current;y researching Aquaculture (fish farming) and Aquaponics (fish and plants together)

I was surprised to see shrimp, prawns (is there a difference) and crayfish are quite popular.

It seems to be much more popular in Australia (and elsewhere) than here in the USA.
