Is it possible to read symptoms and then have them??

like if u think u have something and then you read up on it and you see other symptoms of it and then soon enough u have the symptoms??

  2. Sure, my uncle does that all the time! He's my mother's youngest brother, and if he can't help a bossy older sister to redecorate her house, he meets her with a whole saga of medical symptoms. (And then goes off to recover, in better company).

    It is surprising how quickly you can recover from symptoms, though! Symptoms are so quickly treatable. His doctor has cured him of many exotic illnesses "with a new fast-acting tablet", saving him from the terrible fate of disappointing a party host!  

  3. Yes, it's like a placebo effect.  Sometimes we read something, and don't know all the facts then relate it to having something, or you kinda let your mind play tricks on you and you think your having them.  It's normal, but if it becomes constant then you should see a doctor.
