I was born in Ukraine, but I live in US now. I will turn 16 soon, but it's a problem for me and my parents to go to Ukraine and recieve a ukrainian passport which I will need to travel. Is it possible to get a ukrainian passport in Ukrainian Embassy in US?

  1. YES....GO ONLINE AND FIND YOUR LOCAL AGENCY AND SEE WHAT YOU NEED TO TAKE WITH YOU..  IF YOUR PARENTS ARE NOW NATURALIZED CITIZENS AND YOU HAVE GREEN CARD YOU MUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE THAT ISSUES PASSPORTS WITH BOTH PARENTS AND THEIR DOCUMENT ALONG WITH YOURS AND IN LESS THAN 4 WEEKS YOU ARE US CITIZEN WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH IMMIGRATION (THATS IF YOU WANT TO BE US)

  2. Yes , you can go to Ukraine embassy in the US to get your Ukraine passport...bd

  3. You would have had to have a passport to get into the country originally , unless your pqarents are US citizens -  you shouls be able to take that to your Embassy and get it re-newed - or if yo have other questions the US state dept can answer them.  However a Passport does not allow you to live and work in the US you need a work Visa or something related and that will only last so long - 10 years I think - then you either need to re-apply for the visa or apply to become a US citizen.
