  1. You'd have to set up a live-feed system...With proper knowledge it is do-able but not sure what equipment it would take.

  2. I'm not sure what kind of camcorder you have, but pretty much all camcorders now adays come with AV outputs.  When you record something on your camcorder, then play it back on a normal TV, you use an AV Cable, which should have 3 connectors on one end (Yellow, Red, White) and what looks like a headphone connector on the other.  This same setup should work while recording, depending on your camera.

Find your AV jack on your camera, plus in the AV Cable (buy one if you never got one), and plug the other end into your televison's appropriately color coded inputs. With the camera recorder and the TV set to the appropriate video channel, you will very likely see what your recording on the TV.  If you the length of the AV cable is an issue.. you can buy a long regular RCA video cable (yellow, red, white connectors) and buy 3 RCA couplers at someplace like Radio Shack. That'll let you use the regular RCA cable as an extention for your AV Cable.

With many, but not all cameras, this process also works in reverse. You can plug the AV cable into an output on your cablebox, vcr, or whatever and record it onto your camera.  What buttons to press or options to select will vary with the camera, if that camera can actually do that in the first place.
