  2. Yes.

Without knowing your system capabilities, I can't tell you what to do.  If you have a PC go into a Fry's or Circuit City.  If it's a Mac, visit a Mac store.

  3. my guess would be to download a recording program like fraps maybe and then when your done recording save the file. it will come out as an .avi and you must convert into ipod format

  4. Yes this is possible, best way is to have a TV tuner in your computer and those are fairly cheep and getting cheaper as the years go by.  After its recorded, kinda like turning your computer into a DVR or Tivo, you can edit it in windows movie maker to take the commercials out and then finish it up and have it saved to your computer with the name you want and best is mp4 or if that's not available you can do it with a different video format and then convert it after.

  5. Sure... you need a TV tuner card from a company like Hauppauge. It will come with software that will allow you to record TV, and there are literally dozens of freeware utilities out there that will convert to Quicktime (iPod) video format. If you want more power, use MediaPortal or upgrade to XP Media Center Edition or Vista Home Premium. (I would suggest MythTV, but the fact you're asking if this is possible tells me you probably wouldn't want to go that route). Good luck!

  6. Yes

Need a video capture card/device and video editing software.
