I am currently living with my sister who is not my legal guardian, and I need to register at a new high school since I have changed residence. However, I do not know if I need to be 18 in order to do this, or if I have to fill out a bunch of paperwork to transfer guardianship.

  1. My initial guess would be no... I mean if you go in there, of course they will let you attend. That won't be your problem. But they will want to know about your living situation. You could probably just put your parents informations down, or whoever your old school has on record and get away with it, though. But you definitely have to play it cool on that one. Because they might start to ask questions.
