Most likely, but you should bring it to a professional.  The jersey's going to look ugly after you do that though.  You might as well just buy a new jersey.

Just keep wearing it. You don't have to keep the players up to date. If you liked that player enough to buy a jersey for them, they should be good enough that you'd like to remember their time with the team.
