Is it possible to remove the objective lens of a video-camera and use my telescope with some adapter?

I will make day shootings of distant mountains and stuff.If I buy CCD I need a laptop to connect it to and I don't have a laptop + the CCD already costs more than a video-camera.I will buy an old model VHS camera with a slot for memory cards.

I don't think you'll be able to remove the lens and I'm not sure I'd want to do prime focus work with a camcorder anyway.  It'd be much easier to get an adapter to couple the camcorder lens to the eyepiece - if you google for digiscope adapters you should find something.  I don't think you'll find a VHS camcorder with a memory card though - VHS was superceded long before cards were added to them.
