My brother had an accident ( please see my other question) and is receiving Income Support. Is it possible for him to rent again? He has his name down on the council register for a flat, but I think this will be a very long wait. He was out of work before the accident so most of his rent was being paid, but due to circumstances, he got behind with the payments. Thanks.

  1. yeah i cant see why not. he is better off looking for a property with a different landlord

  2. Yes, certainly. It's unlikely the new landlord or agent will know about the conviction, unless he either mentions it, or uses his old landlord/agent as a reference.

  3. he can rent again yes but hes better off loking for a private landlord tan the council because they wont rush!!!!
