I have hardwood floors that were under a carpet with plastic under that. Over a year or so that I had some friends living and taking care of the house; their house plants leaked some water over several square feet; raised and wrinkled the hardwood. I was wondering if there was a way to steam or otherwise inject glue or adhesive into the wood without replacing it entirely. would it be possible to steam and use heavy flat weight (such as plywood with heavy weight) distributed over the surface to flatten it. Any other ideas?
