  1. cutting works temporarily

  2. Sensations travel inward over the neural paths; some are detained and responded to by the lower automatic spinal centers; others pass on to the less automatic but habit-trained centers of the lower brain, while the most important and vital incoming messages flash by these subordinate centers and are immediately registered in the highest levels of human consciousness.

Mind, while not a physical evolution, is wholly dependent on the brain capacity afforded by purely physical and evolutionary developments.

P.738 - §3 The physical brain with its associated nervous system possesses innate capacity for response to mind ministry just as the developing mind of a personality possesses a certain innate capacity for spirit receptivity and therefore contains the potentials of spiritual progress and attainment. Intellectual, social, moral, and spiritual evolution are dependent on the mind ministry of the seven adjutant spirits and their superphysical associates.

To find what the seven adjutant are go to; 5. THE SEVEN ADJUTANT MIND-SPIRITS - P.401,

  3. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an information processing psychotherapy that was developed to resolve symptoms resulting from disturbing and unresolved life experiences. It uses a structured approach to address past, present, and future aspects of disturbing memories. The approach was developed by Francine Shapiro[1] to resolve the development of trauma-related disorders as resulting from exposure to a traumatic or distressing event, such as rape. Clinical trials have demonstrated EMDR's efficacy in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In some studies it has been shown to be equivalent to cognitive behavioral and exposure therapies, and more effective than some alternative treatments (see effectiveness sections below). However, the effectiveness of the mechanisms behind EMDR have been questioned, with most leading researchers concluding that cognitive restructuring (which is common in most therapies for PTSD), rather than the eye movements, are responsible for change. Although some clinicians may use EMDR for various problems, its research support is primarily for disorders stemming from distressing life experiences.[

  4. Yes, there is much to heal in all of us. You know this. I've found Tantra to be a great healing practice, bringing us back home to our naturalness. : )

  5. refractive meditation is a new method to do that

  6. Metaphysical revelations will do that do you; but it's an epistemological process that takes place. Don't wait for a revelation. Chances are you will never have one, but they do seem to be more prevalent while under duress or trauma.

You can set out to examine your epistemological processes, in which case you will necessarily change your position on some or all of your metaphysics, as you progress.

Or you can set out to examine your metaphysical values, in which case you will be doing by epistemological processes.

Such things as you mention like EMDR do not get at the material of the mind that "needs"--if any of it "needs"--reprocessing. It is a hit-and-miss method, like hypnotism.

You must know the problem areas before you can fix them, and they are either metaphysical or epistemological. To know them mean you must examine them.
