Is it possible to ride a bike from pune to mumbai ?

Is it possible to ride a bike from pune to mumbai ?. I heard that express highway ( mumbai - pune ) wont allow two wheelers!, is it true?. is there any alternative ?.

Yes it is, and quite enjoyable in this season.

You can't take the express way though, two wheelers are not allowed there, but you can go by the old bombay-pune road.
