Is it possible to run faster by a couple seconds?

Is it, because right now I am average with a 100m dash of early 14's to late 13's. Im 13. Reading all these others times, well they blow mine away =[

  1. sprinting is a tough thing.  You'll never really improve by more than a few seconds.  however, being 13, you have time on your side.  If you're serious about running, you could, surely, shave a bit of time off.  If you join the track team, and get placed with the sprinters, you'll work out, while supervised of course, and you'll find that helps.  Don't worry, you'll be fine.

  3. You know why? Obviously, all of the people on this site lie as if trying to impress the avatars with which your are represented.... How stupid right? and that is a fine time, and you will naturally get faster, so dont mind false times, they are what they are.

  4. well you could only get so good, so fast. i dont think you could just drop a couple seconeds like nothing but you never know you might have the hidden potential just waiting in you to explode.

  5. don't worry. it took me a long time to get to my 5:00 minute miles okay? :) i used to run 8 minute miles in middle school and now i'm a solid under 6 minute mile runner. it just takes practice & a good diet. you'll get faster within a couple years with a little dedication honey:)

  6. In a 100m race it is EXTREMELY dificult to just take off 2 seconds in a race. But if you train you will see improvement.
