  1. i dont think so

  2. I would say no. Current trans atlantic cruisings take at least 5 to 6 days. Then ad at least another day or two for the meditereanen leg. Johan

  3. the Rex, Queen Mary and United States records all date from  40 plus  years ago.....the 59 hour refered to wwas asmall power boat with gas tanks dropped along the way for it......even today, 2006, the biggest and fastest (Queen Mary 2) would take 7 days from Italy, so, no, four days isnt possible.

As the other poster said, a carrier or nuc sub running flat out emergency MIGHT make it in 4 days......

  4. YES, join the Navy and get on board an Aircraft Carrier or a guided missle cruiser.  Otherwise maybe not. A U.S. Naval ship can make under 4 days, no problem. Average 40 knots.

Who's the dork who gave this answer a thumbs down?  Some anti-american anti military liberal Jackazz probably.

  5. August 16, 1933 Italian transatlantic ship "Rex" reached NY after 4 days, 13 hours, 50 minutes.

Current world record from NY to Scilly Island (UK) is less than 59 hours...
