Is it possible to scan your mp3 player with avg?

Can you scan your mp3 player with the avg virus scan? I picked up a virus which avg moved to the vault but I was wondering if my mp3 player picked it up also. Is it possible to scan my mp3 with the avg scan? If so how do you do this? I'm not too smart with this stuff is it difficult to do if it's possible? Thanks!

If you can see the mp3 player as a mass storage device (something with a drive letter) simply choose that drive when scanning with avg.

If its an ipod or zune, which requires special software to unlock its privileges and actually transfer files, then you're probably safe.
