Is it possible to see Greenland from Vestfjords, Iceland?

Is it possible to see Greenland's glaziers some were from Vestfjords in Iceland? I've hared that there are only 300 km between Vestfjords and Greenland.

No. The distance to the horizon when you're standing at sea level is only about 20 km. You would have to be over 5,000 meters high to see across 300 km and there are no points that high along either coast.
