Me and my friends want to go away for my birthday but stay within driving distance of there and Washington DC.. I have heard of places that have man made snow and wanted to know if there is a place in PA to go to in October that has it. I know in Seven Springs they have the autumn fest but I don't think it will be snow there around the time we go (Oct 3-5).

Can anyone help?

  1. no. last year i went swimming in the river last october here in pa. sorry

  2. Seven Springs Autumn Fest is not a ski event. People ride the lift to look at all the pretty trees.

Unless there is a massive freakin' blizzard there will not be enough snow in PA to ski until December. No ski area even starts to get it's snow guns ready until November.

I used to pray for snow in October, now it can wait until November. I still have kayaks in the lake until Halloween.

  3. I doubt it, where I live, Colorado, the ski season runs from early november to anywhere from april to even june.
